Introduction

Welcome to the BumpIt! documentation. BumpIt! is a Discord growth bot that keeps your server visible — whether through active bumping, Discover Hub ranking, or passive directory listing.

Growth modes

BumpIt! supports three ways to grow your server. You pick one during setup:

• Active bumping — Run /bump every hour to send your server ad to other servers in the network. They see your listing; you see theirs. The classic bump-for-visibility loop.
• Discover Hub — Bump to rank in /discover results without participating in the ad exchange. Great for servers that want discovery without receiving ads from others.
• Passive listing — List your server in the BumpIt! directory with no bumping required. Set it up once and stay visible as long as your listing is active.

Quick start

1. Invite BumpIt! to your server
2. Set up the required permissions
3. Run through the Setup Wizard from your dashboard — it will ask you to pick a growth mode and walk you through the rest
4. Write your server description and add tags

For active bumping and Discover Hub, run /bump after setup to start sharing. Passive listing servers are live as soon as setup is complete.
